Invitation to Submit
The 2019 Australia & New Zealand Society of Evidence Based Policing (ANZSEBP) Conference will be held 31 October to 1 November at Old Parliament House in Canberra. This year’s conference brings another packed and world class group of speakers together to address its theme – New Frontiers – How the Evidence Base can inform Policing and Law Enforcement.
We invite law enforcement and researchers working with law enforcement to submit an abstract for a “Short Shot” presentation (15 minutes) on completed or in-flight research in policing. Presentations should relate to one of the conference sub-themes, and may include research to better understand and target problems, programs that are being trialled or have recently been evaluated, and efforts to implement evidence-based interventions in law enforcement settings. All abstracts should not exceed 250 words and consist of original work.
All authors whose abstracts are selected to be presented at conference are required to register for the conference and pay the registration fee, to confirm their attendance at the conference. Travel and accommodation costs are also at the author’s expense.
Journal Submission: Authors whose submission is accepted will also be requested to provide an article of no more than 2000 words (not including references) of a suitable quality for publication in the next edition of the Police Science Journal.
